  • We love our military neighbors and welcome them to our communities and events. We have many annual family-style festivals, parades and celebrations that are open to any and everyone.

    Army officials will be on hand March 3 to hear comments concerning a possible 6,500 troop reduction at Fort Polk as the Army reduces its force from 490,000 soldiers to 420,000. The listening session will begin at 6 p.m. at the Convention Hall at Alexandria City Hall - 915 Third Street, Alexandria, LA 71301
